Tonight I implemented level meters, bypass and gain knobs to all plug-ins which were missing these widgets. Non-signal-processing plug-ins like Reverb or Multichorus got an On/Off switch instead of a bypass toggle. This way a comparison between dry and wet is much easier and meaningful. Bypass copies the input directly to the output while switching off e.g. a flanger just removes the effect signal from the output, dry signal keeps its level.
Additionally some of the plug-ins UIs were overhauled, basically they got more compact.

Hi, I want to thank everybody who worked on the Calf plugin suite. From your great instruments to your full mixer strip, not to mention hard-to-describe-with-words wonders like the Transcient Designer, your suite is a wonder of stability and musicality, I don’t know what to say, you guys save my bacon in the studio everytime. Everybody loves you! 🙂 You guys, quite simply, make GNU/Linux audio userland a rose-rainbowed, jumping ponies and singing rivers paradise 🙂
Hey Yassin,
thank you very much for your kind words! I really love the part with the jumping ponies 🙂
I dared to copy your comment to the comments on http://calf-studio-gear.org if you don’t mind.
Best, Markus.
