vielen Dank für den ausführlichen Bugreport, FFmpeg hat mal wieder neue Syntax eingeführt und wie üblich auf Abwärtskompatibilität geschissen. Ist in 0.8.53 umgesetzt und konfigurierbar.

da Tragtor mir als Nicht-Kommando-Zeilen-Mensch mir einen super Zugang zu den Möglichkeiten von ffmpeg bietet, bin ich nach wie vor begeistert davon. An der Stelle noch einmal vielen Dank dafür!

Beim Tüfteln bin ich nun auf einen Sachverhalt gestoßen, von dem ich nicht weiß, ob es ein Bedienfehler oder tatsächlich ein genereller Bug beim Erstellen der ffmpeg-Kommandozeile ist. Kurzer Hintergrund: Ich nutze Kubuntu mit medibuntu-Codecs und wandle Filme meistens in mp4 mit libx264 und libfaac um, aktuell mit tragtor 0.8.52. Die letzten Fehlermeldungen habe ich mir mal genauer angeschaut. Soweit ich es deuten kann, scheint mir die Bitrate, die ich in den Videoeinstellungen angebe, in der Kommandozeile im Audiobereich ausgespuckt zu werden – was dann offenbar zu der Fehlermeldung führt, dass libfaac diese Bitrate nicht generieren kann (s.u.). Müsste die Video-Bitrate vielleicht an anderer Stelle in der Kommandozeile auftauchen?

I made a mistake, it was every 20minutes, not 30 seconds, I recived the notifications, ie each times the wallpaper is reloaded.

After check then uncheck the box, reload the service, the notifications do not appear anymore.

thank you very much for the bug report. To take a closer look I need to know a little more about your configuration, so if you please could edit the executable to throw some debug information it would be really helpful.

sudo gedit /usr/bin/xplanetFX

and change line 8 to

DEBUG=1

save and execute “xplanetFX” in a terminal once. When the rendering process is finished please paste the complete output to a pastebin of your choice (e.g. pastebin.com) and post me the link. After that you can change the DEBUG setting back to 0.
